One Song Is Not Enough

For the past few years, i've been fortunate and blessed to have written at least one 'landmark' song per year.. In 2008 it was 'Someday' which entered into the finals of the Malaysian Revival Songwriting Competition. In 2009 I wrote 'This Christmas' which was used to promote the Christmas event at Full Gospel Church. In 2010 last year it was 'Spur', which was the theme song for our TNT Camp. And this year...??

Living now in a new city, with a new job, new church and new ADDITION to our family (R A C H E L )... It has all kept me quite busy, distracted.. and I haven't really found the inspiration or motivation to write anything..

I thought this would be the first year that would go by where I won't write even a single song. Until motivation and inspiration came in the form of two friends and a wife..

Nechelle asked me to write another Christmas song.. when it was just a week before Christmas! She said it's easy.. Even she can and has written a lullaby song for Rachel!
Boon Fei told me about the songwriting workshops back in FGC, and last week sent me the mp3 and lyrics to his new song, which i thought was one of his best!
And then there's Karl who came up with this video of his awesome cover of 'Let it Snow'..
