Do you sometimes ask yourself these questions:

1. Does God still love me?
2. Is God's favour upon me?
3. Do I have unforgiven sins?
4. Is God far away now?

Well I do.. Every now and then. But I'm glad that I can look into his Word for the answers..

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Nothing I do will ever take away God's love for me. He loved me while i was still an unbeliever.. the worst of sinners. And he loves me now.

"But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation."

As far as God is concerned, I am HOLY. Not because of anything that I've done, but because of everything God has done-- by sending Jesus to die on the cross for all our sins. Say whatever you like about me, my character, or my integrity.. but God sees me as Holy, without blemish and free from accusations. And since God says so, that settles it.

"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."

God promises again and again in the Scriptures that he will be with his people. "I will always be with you." God is not far away. He's right here beside me, even when i can't feel him. He watches over me every day and hears every word I say.. even when i stray away, and even when i disobey.

Would God's favour be upon someone whom he considers as holy, righteous and without blemish? Sure he would. And that's me.

"He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?"
